We were shooting during the week of the mighty SNOWPACALYPSE 2012! We got off lucky considering the major snowfall got pushed to the day after our shoot, but preparing for the worst made all the moving pieces of a shoot that much more interesting. We had Keo Curry on set throwing his bike around for us. If you are unfamiliar with the great Keo Curry, check out this link. It's pretty amazing to be able to work on projects like this that give you the opportunity to just play around on set.
We were also shooting with the Arri Alexa, something we have been looking forward to for a while now. We had gotten so used to the RED workflow with all its nuances and idiosyncracies etc that when Arri announced the Alexa which would solve 90% of the issues we had with the RED a small cheer was heard through the halls of thenewBlank. Steve McGehee and Ronnie Dennis hooked us up with pro level camera work and Kennan and Trevor working sparks.
bobby has done time in Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and LA at various institutions (Imaginary Forces, Digital Kitchen, Goodspot, Postique, Pittard Sullivan. not state sponsored). While working in all these amazing places he realized that this would be a lot more fun if only this or that or the other thing were different. So off he went to Seattle to form Blank, where he lives happily ever after, the end.
